The CSMVS conservation infrastructure and efforts are sustained through collaborations and partnerships. Over the years the major partnerships have been:

Establishment of the conservation centre under the Metro Museum Modernization Plan, Ministry of Culture, Government of India

Art Conservation Resurgence Project supported by Sir Dorabji Tata Trust aims to create a series of reference documents that will assist custodians of cultural heritage to take care of their collections.

ConservArte: Citi-CSMVS Art Conservation Project Citibank is partnering with CSMVS to conserve 150 iconic objects of national and regional importance from the CSMVS collection ranging from the Indus Valley Civilisation to the contemporary age.

Conservation of The Indica Collection of Indian miniatures at Kupferstich Kabinett, Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden Art conservators from CSMVS MACC and Kupferstich Kabinett worked together to conserve and restore the miniature paintings and conducted a series of workshops in India.

Conservation of the 16th century manuscript Anvar i-Suhayli The Persian translation of the Panchatantra fables, the Anvar i- Suhayli, at the CSMVS Museum, comprises of over 200 illustrations and was created at Emperor Akbar's atelier. This fragmented manuscript was conserved under the aegis of the Bank of America Global Art Conservation Project.

Sword of Damocles Conservation-Restoration Project
A neo-classical oil painting by French artist Antoine Dubost, Sword of Damocles, from the European paintings collection of CSMVS, was conserved in partnership with The Courtauld Institute of Art, London.
